Rainier Valley Corps

If we want the voices of communities of color at the table addressing issues of education inequity, economic development, environmental stewardship, or transportation access, we must invest in developing strong leaders from within these communities. The Rainier Valley Corps promotes social justice by cultivating leaders of color, strengthening organizations led by communities of color, and fostering collaboration between diverse communities.

We have supported the Rainier Valley Corps since its launch in 2014, including grants to provide general operating support, expand a leadership development fellowship, and provide back-office services to non-profits run by people of color.
