Seattle Housing Authority
Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) provides long-term, low-income rental housing and rental assistance programs for more than 17,000 households. In addition to supporting Seattle families with affordable housing opportunities, SHA also has services and resources for Seattle Public School students from low-income families.
We are partnering with Seattle Housing Authority to improve educational outcomes—with a particular emphasis on improving attendance rates among students experiencing homelessness and housing instability through Pre-K programs, youth tutoring, free and reduced-priced meals, free transportation benefits, and postsecondary planning. We are also supporting a partnership between SHA and Seattle Public Schools to increase economic and social mobility and build social capital for over 6,000 children.
