Nelson Khov

Associate Program Officer


The son of Cambodian refugees who fled the Khmer Rouge genocide, Nelson grew up in South Seattle and lived in public housing. He experienced first-hand differences in quality between schools. In 2008, Nelson also became the first Gates Millennium Scholar to work at the foundation. Nelson has a B.A. from Seattle University and a M.A. from New York University.
