February 2019 Newsletter

February 27th, 2019

Each year brings new challenges & opportunities – from solving homelessness to closing racial & equity gaps. In our February newsletter, we featured stories of progress from our partners who are inspiring us in Washington State. Here are a few highlights:

  • Black History Today, a series from Rise Up for Students that focuses on the present-day impact leaders are making.
  • King County is using publicly available data for local leaders to help determine where homelessness supports should go.
  • In Seattle, the city’s preschool program has been given high marks in teacher quality, training, and improvement.
