Why Census 2020 is so important

The path to a more equitable future is lined with more accurate data, and a willingness to seek out diverse perspectives, especially those that have been historically excluded. That’s why the foundation is supporting efforts to ensure we’re all counted for Census 2020. For our February newsletter, we’re highlighting the Washington Census Equity Fund and two grantee spotlights:

• Entre Hermanos serves Seattle’s Latinx LGBTQ+ community by prioritizing health and wellbeing through advocacy, education, health, and support services.
• The Somali Family Safety Task Force serves Seattle-area refugee and immigrant women and their families as they seek safer, more stable lives.
